Cafe Florentine in Antipolo City offers a laid-back café experience that leans heavily on its standout feature — a sweeping view of the Pagrai Hills and the surrounding greenery. This spot is clearly a go-to for those who want to soak in the natural scenery while enjoying simple, sizable plates and a solid coffee selection.

The café’s outdoor seating areas are the main attraction, with plenty of tables spread around to catch the sunset or just relax in the open air. It’s a favorite for visitors who don’t mind the warm weather just before dusk and who appreciate a quieter, nature-focused atmosphere. Locals and visitors alike come here to unwind, making it a casual hangout that’s not about rushing a meal but lingering over the view.

Expect the menu to cover a variety of familiar café dishes, including crowd-pleasers such as Pork Steak, Creamy Tuna Pesto Pasta, Angus Burgers, and sweet treats like Mango Cake. The coffee options range from Caramel Macchiato to Iced Latte and Dirty Horchata, catering to both classic and adventurous palates. Portion sizes tend to be generous, which suits friends or couples sharing dishes, though the food leans more toward straightforward flavors than anything overly complex or uniquely crafted.

Some practical notes: the outdoor setting means you’ll want to be prepared for mosquitoes, especially in the early evening, and service can feel a bit stretched thin given the spread-out seating and limited staff, so be ready for a more casual, self-directed rhythm when ordering or settling your bill.

Best time to visit: late afternoon toward sunset for the views, just keep in mind that it can get quite warm, and insect repellent might be handy. The atmosphere is relaxed and slightly rustic, suited for those who prioritize ambiance over fine dining precision.

Overall, Cafe Florentine appeals most to visitors looking for a quiet place to enjoy coffee or a comforting meal away from the usual city buzz, especially those who value nature and open-air dining with a view.

Food: the serving was big and the menu has wide range of selections, however with their serving and how food was prepared, it can satisfy you quickly, and so leaving your food unfinished Service: since they offer indoor, garden and a lot of outdoor tables with few staffs, it makes asking service a little challenging. I have to go to the counter itself to pay for the bill. Atmosphere: the view while eating pays off the whole trip to the cafe. When the sun begins to set, so do mosquitoes surface out of nowhere. Swatting them was not the part you expected, but it does happen. Overall, it’s still an experience to try. A breather away from the hustle and bustle of the capital.

My boyfriend and I love the view.. it’s so relaxing. The coffee and pizza are above average, though a bit pricey. I felt a bit disappointed with their cups, especially considering the price. I was expecting them to have their own signature cups, not the typical ones you’d find at a regular budget coffee shop.

The place is really nice and the view is fantastic. They have a lot of tables/spaces where you can view the sunset unobstructed. Tho it gets really hot just right before the sunset so get ready for that. The food tho was overpriced for its quality but I understand you are really paying for the view rather than the food. And I have yet to try other items from their menu. If you are seated at the lower part of the resto, it is quite hard to get a hold of the staff. Better if they put a buzzer/bell system per table to call the staff. It was also a very steep drive, even the parking lot has a very steep driveway. Kaya naman ng sedan pero baka medyo mahirapan. Mas ok for bigger cars. For more full reviews and recommendations find our socials! Julius & Roselle The Try-Hard Guy

We recently visited Cafe Florentine in Antipolo and ordered their Tuna Pesto and Fish and Chips. The portion sizes were generous — definitely enough for two people, which we appreciated. However, for the price point, we felt the dishes could use more in terms of flavor depth or uniqueness. The food wasn’t bad at all — just not something that stood out compared to other cafes in the area offering similar dishes at a lower price. It felt like a large part of what you’re paying for is the ambiance and scenic view, which, to be fair, is absolutely lovely and relaxing. The cafe’s interior and overall vibe are definitely a highlight. It’s a nice place if you’re looking to unwind and enjoy a peaceful view over coffee or light meals. Just temper your expectations if you’re visiting mainly for the food. Still worth trying, especially if you’re in the area and want a quiet spot with a view.
